The Black Rose

Another brushpen sketch. This is one that I whipped out yesterday when we were driving to and from Deception Pass. I did the rough sketch in the car, then inked it at various stops along the way.

This is "The Black Rose", a minor character from the Ironclaw campaign I'm running. A rare coyote pirate amongst a crew of jackals, she may be revealed to be the long-lost sister of one of the PCs.

The pose/outfit is based vaguely on an old Elmore print, I believe... it was an illo in the old AD&D supplement, "Pirates of the Fallen Star", which I picked up as a freebie when touring Wizards of the Coast recently. No feet because I started too low on the page.
