First Encounter Colored

Finally sat down and finished off coloring this pic. It took weeks, but primarily because of indecision... I experimented all over in coloring this piece, trying various techniques and seeing what I liked. The shading probably came out too mild in the end, but I like it anyway.

Bey's color scheme seemed like a decent compromise between being too dark to make out details and too light to look like a warthog. And yes, Emerald's eye is supposed to be messed up; the green one in the her-as-an-adult pic is a replacement.
