Conjury

A tiefling conjures a spirit of joy in a joyless place.

This one has a long history with me... the original sketch was drawn and inked years ago. I've tried digitally coloring it over and over again, never with any success. This time, though, I decided to try using pacman23's coloring tutorial as a guide and I think something finally clicked.

In fact, I like the painted colors so well that I erased a lot of the line art and I'm seriously thinking about getting rid of it all.

While the original character was just a nameless demon-thingie with a beneficient smile, I've come to think of her as a second-generation Planescape tiefling... a mixed-breed outcast, part human, part demon and part devil, trying to find a place for herself in the Planes. Still nameless, though.
