Wow, I haven't posted anything here in years. Hm. Let's see...

Looking back over my old stuff, I'm always amazed to realize that I've actually gotten better at things. It never seems like it along the way.
I'm retired now, so I have more time for art. Hopefully I'll be able to keep adding things here.
2018 Art Goals?
Pretty happy with my progress, all told.
Next big goal, I think, is dumping the linework- learn to paint without comic-book-style lines providing all of the detail.

After nearly 4 years of development, not only have I managed to land a publisher, but the Kickstarter for my game has funded!

Mana Surge has just 2 days left as of this note but we're funded and heading into the stretch goals!
I like to describe the game as "Uno... with Fireballs!" The "Caster" leads a numbered spell card and as it goes around the table each player must play a card that's at least as high as the highest played so far... or get zapped! With 3 paths to victory and playing equally well from 2 to 6 players, I'm really proud of it.
And the art the publisher commisions came out awesome!
